Our Partners
Working Together for a Stronger Community
Mangere Town Centre is proud to stand alongside organisations that share our commitment to the community. From local government to essential services, our partners play a key role in supporting safety, wellbeing, cultural identity and connection across our neighbourhood.

They support initiatives that strengthen community, cultural identity, and services. Their work includes funding community events, supporting heritage projects and advocating for improved housing and transport links.

Auckland Council is a key partner in supporting the growth, safety, and vibrancy of Māngere Town Centre. Through its Business Improvement District (BID) programme and community partnerships, the Council helps ensure our centre remains a welcoming place for residents, visitors, and businesses. Their support enables us to deliver local projects, events, and services that reflect the unique culture and spirit of Māngere. Together, we’re working to create a thriving town centre that strengthens community connections and fosters opportunity for all.
Māngere Market Trust
Māngere Market is a vibrant showcase of New Zealand’s multicultural shopping experience, where fresh produce, clothing, and merchandise from around the world are displayed each Saturday in a lively, family-friendly atmosphere.
Mangere Market operates under the guidance of Mangere Trust Board. All profits from the market are distributed to local schools and services that play a role in educating and developing the people of Mangere to achieve more. The Trust encourages people and organisations from this area to apply for a grant that will assist them in worthwhile projects.
Open every Saturday from 7am to 2pm at Māngere Town Centre, Māngere Market stands as a colourful hub of culture, trade, and community spirit.
